Why I’m Talking

October 8, 2008

So I thought that maybe I should back up and tell you why vaccines are so much on my mind lately.  At least then you will know why I did the big long post yesterday.  You see, I was talking to my brother.  His daughter just turned one in September and received her mega-dose of shots.  He was telling me how she was uncomfortable and cried a lot and all that.  Just on a whim I said, “Do you know what they put in those thing?  It is disgusting!”  He replied, “No, I don’t know, but I’m not sure I want to.”  I thought for a second of whether I should say anything and then I proceeded, “Well, for starters there are toxic levels of aluminum and other toxic metals. Not to mention animal cells and human fetal tissue!”  He didn’t really say anything so I went on, “If I had known before I started my kids shots I never would have gotten them in the first place - who knows what kind of sickness that stuff causes.”

His response, “Well, doesn’t the benefit of the shots far outweigh any sickness that may result from it?”

“Well, I just don’t know,” I told him, “You see, I live every day with a kid who has Autism, so I just don’t know.”

“But vaccines don’t cause Autism,” he said.

“That hasn’t been proven.  No one knows what causes Autism and vaccines probably don’t help.”

And that is what got me started on my ever growing topic of vaccinations.

Epidemics Should be Researched!

October 7, 2008

So now that I have discussed that I am not “anti-vaccine” and that I believe we should be informed about vaccines I can go on to my next thought.  I am right in line with the people who say that vaccines need to be changed, reformulated, and made safer for our children.  I am also right in line with those who say that there needs to be testing in children before receiving vaccines to make sure that their little bodies can handle them.  I also believe doctors need to be open to explaining all the possible risks associated with vaccines, whether they themselves believe it to be true or not.  There is a huge group out there that does believe there is a risk and parents should be made aware.

Case in point - my Bug.  Now, I was never really aware while pregnant of the whole vaccine debate.  It wasn’t something that I researched or even gave any thought to.  When I had Bug he was born jaundiced.  Now, some say that isn’t such a big deal, but I disagree.  Obviously there was something not working right within his body.  At the time I didn’t think about that either.  I just had my first baby, after 29 hours of labor I was exhausted and in pain and I didn’t want to think about anything other than Ibuprofen and sleep.  It was just a short while later that a nurse walked in and said it was time for Bug’s first shots and took him away.  It was never told to me what the shot would be or why he was getting it.

It was Hepatitis B.  Hep B is loaded with a toxic level of aluminum and also contains thimerosal.  There are no published studies that I have found to indicate that babies have the ability to excrete the aluminum from their bodies before it does harm.

So, here we have a child that was born sick (jaundiced) and possibly with other internal illness (we have no way to know without some sort of test) and he was immediately injected with poison.  It doesn’t take a genius to think there could be a correlation there between the “poison” and the Autism.

I don’t know.  I don’t know if vaccines cause Autism, but I certainly believe they don’t help.

MMR - there’s the biggie.  Bug got incredibly sick after the MMR.  Again, not knowing anything I didn’t think about it.  I just pressed on and figured that sick is just a reaction and not to freak out.  Had I have known that the MMR contained human aborted fetal tissue I would have NEVER allowed that shot.  Fetal tissue contains all kinds of cells and how can we be sure that there won’t be a reaction in children?  We can’t!

Again, I don’t know if vaccines cause Autism, but this is all stuff that really needs to be looked into!

Along with the MMR, my son was also given the DPT - this contains formaldehyde!  Why on earth would you inject that into a body!  In addition, it contains red blood cells from sheep - SHEEP!  These are human children and we are injecting sheep cells into them!  And no one seems to want to look into vaccines and their possible connection with Autism - are you kidding me!?!

Some of these vaccines contain chicken embryos, some contain monkey cells, and some contain cow cells!  It is disgusting!  Add that to the toxic metals and it is no wonder children are getting sick - forget Autism, many kids just get downright sick!

It is absolutely disturbing!

1 in 94 boys has Autism.  That is an epidemic people, an epidemic.  I believe that our doctors need to be doing everything in their power to research the epidemic and find the cause and this means the American Academy of Pediatrics needs to stop getting their palms greased by the pharmaceutical companies and needs to start looking into the vaccines and what is going on in our children.

They claim vaccines don’t cause Autism, but they refuse to research it and look at other groups who have done the research and listen to the families who are telling them that their kids were fine until they got their shots.  I don’t think vaccines alone cause Autism, but I do believe it is possible that they contribute.

What’s in that Shot?

October 6, 2008

As you know, I am not an “anti-vaccine” person.  What I have become, however, is an “inform yourself about the vaccine” person.  I believe our kids need vaccinations - stopping the spread of things like polio and diphtheria is a very important thing, but I also believe that whether or not you get your children vaccinated should be a personal choice and not one that is imposed upon you by the government or some health official.  Why do I believe that?  Well, I’m glad you asked.

Did you know that many of today’s vaccinations include parts of aborted fetal tissue in them?  How about chicken embryos?  I kid you not when I tell you that some of the vaccines include cells from monkey kidneys or red blood cells of sheep - you just can’t make this stuff up!  It sounds like science fiction, doesn’t it?  Yet, it isn’t!  We inject this stuff into children all over the country every day in the form of vaccines.  And don’t forget other chemicals like formaldehyde and thimerosal (which contains about 49.6% mercury).

Had I been as proactive about researching vaccines when my kids were born as I am now I probably would have left out quite a few of them from the ever growing list at the doctor’s office, but I wasn’t and now my kids have pretty much had it all (there are a few left to do but they are repeats of things already done).

Like I said, you have to make your own choice.  If you are interested in seeing just what it is that you are injecting into your kid I encourage you to take a look at this website called Informed Choice. I think you will be surprised and well, be warned - disgusted - by what you read.
